Whether you seek a subtle glow or a more dramatic transformation, our expert team tailors each peel to your unique needs, ensuring a revitalized, luminous look. The procedure typically takes about 30 minutes with a one week recovery time. 4 to 6 sessions may be recommended for best results.

Pre and Post Care

  1. Avoid Sun Exposure: Protect your skin from excessive sun exposure for at least two weeks prior to the treatment. This helps minimize skin sensitivity and reduces the risk of complications.
  2. Skincare Products: Discontinue the use of any retinol creams, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), or other exfoliating products for at least one week before the ViPeel treatment. These products can sometimes cause skin irritation and may increase sensitivity during the treatment.
  3. Avoid Certain Medications and Treatments: Prior to the treatment, inform your healthcare provider of any medications you are taking, especially those that can increase skin sensitivity, such as isotretinoin (Accutane). It is generally recommended to stop using these medications for a specified period before undergoing the ViPeel treatment. Additionally, avoid any other facial treatments, such as waxing or laser hair removal, for at least one week before your ViPeel.
  4. Communicate Allergies or Skin Conditions: Inform your healthcare provider of any known allergies or skin conditions you may have, as this information is crucial in determining your suitability for the treatment and ensuring your safety.
  5. Hydration: Ensure you are properly hydrated by drinking plenty of water in the days leading up to your ViPeel treatment. Hydrated skin tends to respond better to the procedure.
  6. Plan for Downtime: The ViPeel treatment may cause some redness, peeling, and skin sensitivity in the treated area. Plan your schedule accordingly, allowing for a few days of potential downtime or limited social activities while your skin heals.
  7. Please arrive to your appointment without any makeup if possible.
  8. Please reschedule your appointment if you are not feeling well, develop a cold sore, blemish, or rash in the area to be treated.
  9. Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding may not be treated. No exceptions.
  10. Please have your consent forms filled out prior to your appointment. If you did not receive consent forms, please reach out to our office at (909)218-3993 or info@rumibeautyco.com
After your appointment, you can expect:
  •  Your skin will be red, tight, irritated, and swollen
  •  You will notice mild flaking to large areas of peeling skin typically on days 4-7 after treatment.
  • Noticeably brighter skin and more even tone about 7-10 days after peel
Aftercare:
  • Follow the instructions provided in your ViPeel aftercare kit and use only the products provided in the kit for the next 7 days until peeling is completed.
  • Expect the most significant amount of peeling to occur on days 4-7.
  • Leave the peel on: Do not wash off the ViPeel solution until the recommended time provided by your healthcare provider has passed. This allows the active ingredients to fully penetrate the skin and provide the desired results.
  • Avoid excessive sun exposure: Protect your skin from direct sunlight for at least one week following the peel. Apply a broad-spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher, wear protective clothing, and consider using a wide-brimmed hat or umbrella when outdoors.
  •  Do not pick or peel the skin prematurely: Let the skin peel naturally without picking or peeling it off. Prematurely removing the peeling skin can lead to scarring and other complications.
  •  Avoid exfoliating or harsh skincare products: Refrain from using exfoliating scrubs, alpha-hydroxy acids (AHAs), retinols, or any other harsh skincare products for at least one week following the ViPeel treatment. These products can potentially irritate the newly treated skin and disrupt the healing process.USE ONLY PRODUCTS IN VIPEEL POSTCARE KIT*
  •  Protect the skin: Avoid excessive heat, such as saunas, hot showers, or steam rooms, for at least one week after the peel. Heat can exacerbate skin sensitivity and increase the risk of complications.
  •  Stayhydrated: Drink plenty of water to keep your body and skin hydrated, which aids in the healing process and supports overall skin health.
  • Avoid exercise for the first 24-48 hours after the procedure. Makeup can be applied 24 hours post-treatment if desired.
  • You should notice a more even tone, brighter, more luminous skin after peeling is completed. For best results, 4-6 treatments are recommended 4-6 weeks apart.
    How to maintain your treatment:
    • Maintenance treatments are recommended once to three times a year after the initial 4-6 treatments. One of the most popular times to do chemical peels is after Summer to help diminish newly acquired sun damage to the skin.
    • Ensure you are using medical-grade skincare products in between treatments, including retinol products, vitamin C, and sunscreen.
    • Products such as Alumier Intellibright, Everactive C&E, and treatments such as neurotoxins, microneedling, RF Microneedling, ResurFX, and IPL can further enhance your results.
